As a support worker for Cheshire Care you will be a vital part of the organisation, supporting our service users to the highest standard possible. Cheshire Care support workers ensure that they promote independence, health and well being, meet individual needs and ensure dignity is maintained at all times.

As a new employee with Cheshire Care we will provide you with full written and practical training to give you all the knowledge, skills and experience you require to become an outstanding support worker and improve the quality of lives for the individuals we support. This training includes:

Mandatory training (Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Infection Control,   Food  Hygiene,  Health & Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid)

During employment with Cheshire Care you will receive annual updates on all training and also have the opportunity undertake additional training as available. In addition to the above training you will also be able to undertake an NVQ level 2 and level 3 in health and social care with the support of fully qualified NVQ assessors.

Whilst being an employee at Cheshire Care you will receive support from your Line Manager and other members of the management team in the forms of 3 monthly supervisions, yearly appraisal’s and 3 monthly staff meetings. You will be provided with a uniform upon commencement of employment with us and we also provide a work based pension scheme.
